Alec Baldwin is an outlaw in first ‘Rust’ trailer since fatal on-set shooting

CNN — The first trailer for “Rust” has been released over three years after the film’s cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, was killed on the film’s New Mexico set. “Some things in this life you can’t get back, I reckon,” Baldwin’s Harland Rust is seen telling his on-screen grandson Lucas McCalister. Hutchins is credited as the cinematographer in the film’s credits, alongside Bianca Cline, who took over the position when “Rust” returned to production. Hutchins and their son Andros will receive profits from the film, according to an NPR article published in November, which cites terms of Matthew Hutchins’ sealed settlement in a wrongful death lawsuit.
