UGC declared 24 universities as fake: Highest number from UP, WB
The University Grants Commission, UGC today, on October 7, 2020, released a list of 24 “self-styled, unrecognised institutions” in the country. UGC terming those universities as fake with the maximum of them operating from Uttar Pradesh and at the second place in Delhi-- the national capital of India.
