Renukaswamy murder: New evidence deepens actor Darshan's legal woes
India TodayThe Renukaswamy murder case has taken a critical turn as an additional charge sheet against prime accused actor Darshan and his associates was finalised and is set to be filed in court today. The charge sheet reportedly incorporates over 20 pieces of evidence, including forensic reports from the Forensic Science Laboratory. Meanwhile, a single-judge bench led by Justice Vishwajit Shetty of the Karnataka High Court heard the regular bail pleas of Darshan, Pavitra Gowda, and six other accused on Thursday. On November 19, Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda announced that an appeal will be filed in the Supreme Court soon, challenging the interim bail granted to Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case.
