Under the special package, agriculture input subsidy will be given to small and marginal farmers who sustained a crop loss of 33 percent and above, at a rate of Rs 6,800 per hectare of land in rain-fed/non-irrigated areas, Rs 13,500 per hectare of land in areas under assured irrigation and Rs 18,000 per hectare for all types of perennial crops. Special Relief Commissioner PK Jena said that a central team is likely to undertake a visit to the cyclone affected areas on 14 and 15 November.
