Android 10 for Nokia phones announced, Nokia 7.1, 8.1 and 9 PureView will be first to get updated in Q4 2019

Moments after Google announced that Android Q will officially be called Android 10, HMD Global revealed its portfolio of Nokia phones that will get updated to the next major Android operating system. HMD chief Juho Sarvikas tweeted that Android 10 will start rolling out to Nokia smartphones in Q4 2019 with the Nokia 7.1, Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 9 PureView first in line to receive the update between October to December this year. After the Nokia 7.1, 8.1 and 9 PureView, HMD will roll out Android 10 update to the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 7 Plus in early Q1 2020. Later in Q1 2020, the Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco will get updated to Android 10.
