Hohhot resumes trains, flights in an orderly manner

To meet the travel needs of its residents amid the COVID-19 epidemic, trains and flights have begun to resume operations in an orderly manner in Hohhot – capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – according to local media reports. The Hohhot Railway Bureau recently resumed the operation of intercity and EMU trains linking Hohhot with leagues and cities in the autonomous region – including Baotou, Ordos and Ulaanqab – as well as long-distance passenger trains such as the Hohhot-Xi'an, Hohhot-Ulaanhot, Baotou-Chifeng and Baotou-Harbin routes. To date, Hohhot Railway Station and Hohhot East Railway Station have distributed protective clothing, masks, gloves and other epidemic prevention equipment to staff members. The Inner Mongolia Air Traffic Control Bureau guaranteed round-trip flights on Nov 21-25 between Hohhot and 11 domestic destinations including Tianjin, Chengdu, Wuhan, Jinan, Taiyuan, Alshaa League and Chifeng.
