Police locate more human remains after finding a leg in Palos Verdes Peninsula

LA Times

Two men who went fishing out of San Pedro on Monday night remain missing after their boat was found crashed on the Palos Verdes shoreline Tuesday morning. Authorities located more human remains Thursday after conducting a search along the Palos Verdes Peninsula, where a human leg washed on shore a day before. During the search of the shoreline, officers and coroner investigators recovered a second human leg and a femur, said Palos Verdes Estates Police Capt. The department said that a cadaver dog with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was used that day to thoroughly search the area for additional remains, but none were found.
