When we hear the word nicotine, most of us immediately relate it to cigarettes and the damaging effect smoking can have on the heart. According to a research, people who consume these vegetables in their diet have a 30 percent lower chance of developing Parkinson’s disease, reported Mail Online. There is also another way nicotine helps patients of Parkinson’s disease who also suffer from bone loss. A research led by Newcastle University’s Dr Mohammad Shoaib aims to find a nicotine-based treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Not only Parkinson’s diseases, nicotine is also believed to be the reason behind low Covid-19 hospitalisations in China.
