Karnataka govt issues Covid-19 guidelines amid surge in global cases | Details here

The Karnataka government has issued new guidelines on tackling Covid-19 infections in the state amid the global surge in cases. On Monday, Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai said that preventive measures for Covid-19 will be implemented step-by-step across the state. “The current Covid situation was discussed at the cabinet meeting today, about the need to create awareness among the public about an increase in booster doses, testing, making testing compulsory for Influenza-Like Illness and Severe Acute Respiratory Illness cases, wearing masks in closed places,” said the CM as quoted by PTI. NEW COVID GUIDELINES IN KARNATAKA Meanwhile, after a review meeting on Monday, the Karnataka government announced the following guidelines: ïû¿International Arrivals- Symptomatic passengers will be taken to a designated medical facility for quarantine and managed as per the existing Covid protocol.
