Thane: Criticising the Centre over the Citizenship Amendment Act, Swaraj India president Yogendra Yadav said it is unfortunate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can only see the “white cap” and “hijab” but not the national flag in the hands of lakhs of people. Maharashtra Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad, JD national general secretary and Justice BG Kolse-Patil and Jawaharlal Nehru University student leader Umar Khalid also addressed the gathering. On the occasion, JNU student leader Umar Khalid said Bharat is the country of people like Babasaheb Ambedkar and not of Modis. Khalid also said that Modi earlier wore the “mask” of a ‘vikas purush’, and has now put on the mask of being the brother of Muslim women.
