Jiah Khan's Mother Moves SC For SIT Probe Into Daughter’s Death

The mother of actress Jiah Khan, who had allegedly committed suicide, has moved the Supreme Court against a Bombay High Court order rejecting her plea challenging the CBI charge sheet terming the death as suicide and not homicide.The Bombay High Court had on February 9 dismissed Rabia Khan’s petition seeking an SIT investigation into her daughter Jiah Khan’s death. The mother of actress Jiah Khan, who had allegedly committed suicide, has moved the Supreme Court against a Bombay High Court order rejecting her plea challenging the CBI charge sheet terming the death as suicide and not homicide. The Bombay High Court had on February 9 dismissed Rabia Khan’s petition seeking an SIT investigation into her daughter Jiah Khan’s death. Following this, Rabia filed an appeal in the Bombay High Court seeking a probe by the CBI into Jiah’s death.
