Food delivery apps Zomato, Swiggy back after facing brief outages due to technical snag

Hindustan Times

Food delivery applications Zomato and Swiggy, which on Wednesday reported a brief spell of outages across several cities in India, are now back and running. Both companies tweeted to annoyed Twitter users during the episode, and assured them that their respective teams are working to fix what Zomato called a 'temporary glitch'. Downdetector, a website that tracks outages by collecting status reports from various sources, including user-submitted issues, showed as many as 3,030 reports of outages for Zomato in India at 2pm. However, at 3.45pm, Swiggy posted a witty message on Twitter that read, “Trainer said it was legs day today brb ordering chicken lollipop."
