AAP's Raghav Chadha suspended from Rajya Sabha over misconduct allegation
India TodayAam Aadmit Party MP Raghav Chadha has been suspended from Rajya Sabha till the Privilege Committee submits its findings on the allegation against him for forging the signatures of five MPs in a motion related to the Delhi Services Bill in the Rajya Sabha. Responding to his suspension, Chadha asked in a video message whether the reason for his suspension was because he ‘questioned the leaders of the world's biggest party inside Parliament’. The resolution to suspend Raghav Chadha was moved by Piyush Goyal, who is the Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha. The party further said that the allegations of 'forged signatures' against Raghav Chadha were "false and politically motivated" and accused the BJP of targeting Chadha for speaking against the party.
