25 foreign envoys kick-off Jammu and Kashmir visit with shikara ride, Iltija Mufti raises questions
India TodayTwenty-five foreign envoys kicked-off their two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday with a ride on shikara - a boat famous amongst tourists visiting Dal Lake. Afghanistan's envoy to India Tahir Qadiry wrote on Twitter, "Upon our arrival, we enjoyed a shikara ride on Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. Reacting to the the Kashmir visit of envoys, Iltija Mufti, daughter of Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti, wrote on Twitter saying, "Hope you and delegation of the European Union to India question Government of India about - internet ban since August 5 and economic losses suffered, GoI muzzling local media in Kashmir, release of detainees including three former chief ministers with draconian PSA, troop development to create fear amongst people.
