Balika Vadhu actress Smita Bansal congratulates Daadisa aka Surekha Sikri for winning third National Award

Television actress Smita Bansal, who played the role Sumitra Bhairon Singh in Balika Vadhu, recently posted a sweet note for third time National Award winner Surekha Sikri. On August 9, veteran actress Surekha Sikri won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role of a grandmother in Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho. Reportedly, this is Surekha Sikri’s third National Film Award. In the past, she bagged her first National Award for Best Supporting Actress, for Tamas, and then in 1995 for Shyam Benegal’s Mammo.
