Key points: Artificial nesting platforms have been installed across the Eyre and Yorke Peninsula The last population count showed only 47 pairs of ospreys were left in South Australia A pair of ospreys have already started to develop their nest on the Tumby Island platform. Fran Solly who is the secretary for Friends of Osprey said the organisation set up a nest with surveillance last year, but footage showed the bird's eggs were being predated on by foxes.
