A fourth man has been arrested for his alleged role in a syndicate accused of using stolen personal information to apply for bogus car loans worth $10million. Police alleged the syndicate stole information from more than 33 people to apply for loans from various financial institutions to buy luxury cars that did not exist. Police have already charged three other people over their alleged roles in the syndicate and their cases remain before the courts. The 36-year-old man was arrested at a home in Lindfield on Wednesday morning The police seized $80,000 in luxury handbags and jewellery Police have already charged three people in connection to the alleged syndicate The NSW Crime Commission has restrained $18million worth of assets belonging to the syndicate.
