HYDERABAD: Upset over her alcoholic father admonishing her frequently, his daughter killed him at Amberpet. Police said Nikitha slashed her father Jagadish's throat with a broken glass piece on Saturday night. According to the Amberpet police, Jagadish, 45 was working as a daily wage labourer and was a resident of Tulasiramnagar, along with his wife Satyamma and daughter Nikitha, who was working in a fruit stall. On Saturday night around 9.30 pm, when she returned home from work, Jagadish picked up a quarrel with her and admonished her. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment, said Amberpet station house officer Ashok.
