Meghan Trainor Recalls ‘Horrific’ Miscarriage Scare She Had During A TV Interview

Appearing on Mythical Kitchen’s “Last Meals” last week, Trainor told food journalist Josh Scherer that she’d been convinced she’d miscarried while sitting for an interview with Ryan Seacrest in late 2022. “I did interviews, and they’re like, ‘How are you?’ And I said, ‘I’m thriving.’ I was so happy.” Daryl Sabara and Meghan Trainor are the parents of two sons: Riley, 3, and Barry, 11 months. Gabriel Olsen via Getty Images Just moments before she went live on the air with Seacrest, she noticed she was “gushing blood” to the extent where she “ruined a chair.” “I go, ‘Oh, no,’ and they’re like, ‘OK, Ryan Seacrest is on,” she said. “Go!’” Trainor said she managed to keep it together while chatting with Seacrest, but the moment she turned off her computer, she told her team, “I think I’m miscarrying right now.” After excusing herself to go to the bathroom, she added: “I was like, ‘Alright, I had a baby this morning, and now they’re gone.’” In the wake of the incident, Trainor continued to take pregnancy tests, all of which continued to come back positive.
