In a tragic incident, in a village in Kallakurichi town of Tamil Nadu's Villipuram district, two girls suffocated to death after being trapped inside a car for more than two hours. E Rajeshwari and A Vanitha - the children of two farm workers got into their neighbours' car while playing and got stuck inside it. The car in which the children were found dead has been lying unused after being damaged in an accident two years ago. The car's doors could be opened from outside but not from inside and that could have been the reason why the children got stuck in the car.
