What will Ohio State do at QB? Pressure on Ryan Day after Cotton Bowl adds more questions

ARLINGTON, Texas — Ohio State walked off the field frustrated and disappointed, some players even in tears. That didn’t happen this year, and the Cotton Bowl was perhaps a fitting ending to Ohio State’s season: a loss because it couldn’t sort out its offensive line issues and its quarterback problems. The latter wasn’t helped by a mostly new offensive line, but quarterbacks at Ohio State have typically elevated the program. And while the offensive line is still a massive issue, Ohio State can’t be the team Day wants it to be without an elite quarterback. “We have two losses and that’s not good enough at Ohio State,” Day said.
