President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, visits Siyi village in Panjiawan town of Jiayu county, Xianning, Central China's Hubei province. WUHAN -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Chinese president, and chairman of the Central Military Commission, emphasized the need for Hubei province to thoroughly implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. The province was urged to promote the development of the system for guaranteeing basic public services and advance primary-level governance in an integrated manner, and make solid efforts to ensure people's livelihoods. Highlighting Hubei's profound historical and cultural heritage and rich revolutionary resources, Xi urged the province to proactively strengthen the conservation of cultural resources and promote innovative development of the cultural sector.
