New Zealand's Lydia Ko takes biggest first prize in women's golf history, winning $3 million at LPGA Tour Championship

Lydia Ko has recorded an emotional win at the LPGA's season-ending Tour Championship in Florida to deny Australian Minjee Lee two more huge gongs. LPGA Tour Championship Final leaderboard 1: Lydia Ko 17-under 2: Leona Maguire 15-under 3: Anna Nordqvist 14-under T4: Georgia Hall 12-under T4: Jeongeun Lee6 12-under T33 Hannah Green 1-under T33 Minjee Lee 1-under Ko held her nerve with a final-round 2-under-par 70 on Sunday to finish two shots clear of Ireland's Leona Maguire. Ko's $US2 million pay day took her season earnings to $US4,364,403, leaving the New Zealander to also win the season-long money list. Minjee Lee had two birdies but seven bogeys in a tough final round that saw her finish 16 strokes behind winner Lydia Ko.
