New Delhi: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was first announced back in 2020, with an expected release date of January 2021. Now, Ubisoft has announced that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be remade by Ubisoft Montreal, the same studio that first brought out the epochal action-adventure title back in 2003. On May 3, Ubisoft announced via the official Prince of Persia Twitter handle that The Sands of Time Remake will be developed by Ubisoft Montreal, who will take over control from Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai.
