Richmond public housing tower among new Victorian COVID-19 exposure sites
ABCA public housing tower in Richmond has been listed as an exposure site with a case having visited the premises over several days between August 14 and 20. A Bakers Delight outlet in Shepparton's Vaughan Street has also been listed as a tier 2 site, with a case attending between August 15, 8:00am to 11:00am and August 16, between 9:00am and 10:00am. Earlier, a vaccination hub in Melbourne's south-east was also listed as a COVID-19 exposure site after someone who was vaccinated on Monday later developed symptoms and tested positive to the virus. Peninsula Health said the Frankston Community Vaccination Hub at Bayside Centre had been deemed a tier 2 exposure site and anyone who visited between 11:30am and 12:45pm on Monday must get tested as soon as possible and quarantine until they receive a negative result.
