The words “deny” “defend” and “depose” were found on the ammunition near where an assailant gunned down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. An X account appearing to belong to the book’s author, Rutgers Law School professor emeritus Jay Feinman, said Amazon had temporarily run out of paperback copies but they were still available on Kindle. He was reportedly found with a manifesto critical of the insurance industry and had been profoundly affected by a back injury, those who know him said.
