Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ayyanna questions absenteeism of YSRCP MLAs during Budget session

Coming down heavily on the continued absenteeism of YSR Congress Party MLAs during the Budget session of the Legislative Assembly, Speaker Ch. He stated that Y. Bala Nagi Reddy, Thatiparthi Chandrasekhar, R. Matsyalingam, B. Virupakshi, M. Visweswara Raju, Akepati Amarnath Reddy and Dasari Sudha were the YSRCP MLAs who did that and by doing so, they have defeated the purpose of being sent to the Assembly by the people of their constituencies. Mr. Patrudu said the YSRCP MLAs came to the Assembly for the Governor’s address on February 24 but have since boycotted the proceedings. In this regard, the Speaker had earlier issued a ruling that action would be taken if they did not stop spreading falsehood on Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s claim to be designated as LoP.
