Telangana Congress hailed the Budget as progressive and a direction to the country on the welfare of downtrodden sections apart from being realistic. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Mahesh Kumar Goud said that ₹40,234 crore have been allocated for SC welfare, ₹17,169 crore for ST welfare, ₹11,405 crore for Backward Classes, and ₹3,591 crore for minority welfare. Mr. Goud said focus on Irrigation, Agriculture and Industry reflected the Government’s commitment towards the development indices. The TPCC chief appreciated Chief Minister A.
