Let’s turn the page on the cruel past of this nation.” Without name-checking Donald Trump, he appeared to reference the end of his presidency by stating: “The good news is inclusion and justice and care for Mother Earth is breaking out everywhere. Many high-profile figures spoke out against the fact that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the voting organisation that decides the ceremony’s winners and nominees, doesn’t have a single Black member.
