Chennai Corporation to build badminton court at Millennium Park

The Greater Chennai Corporation has announced the construction of a new badminton court at Millennium Park on Park Road in Ward 88, Ambattur Zone. The project will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹89.80 lakh, under the Mayor Improvement Fund, and is expected to be completed within nine months. The court will have a 40 mm thick bitumen macadam surface, painted with white acrylic emulsion for court markings. The work will be carried out in accordance with prescribed quality standards and specifications, including surface levelling, compaction, and drainage provisions to ensure durability.
