Kayaker gulped down by humpback whale

Samantha Donovan: Well, you may have thought the only person who could survive being snapped up by a whale was Jonah in the Bible. Rachel Hayter: Emerging from the biblical belly of a whale, almost, Adrian Simancas, the modern day poncho wearing Jonah, recalls his terrifying experience. Rachel Hayter: Wildlife scientist with Macquarie University, Vanessa Pirotta, believes the kayakers were a bit too close to the whale feeding area. Rachel Hayter: But Vanessa Pirotta says a humpback whale couldn't eat a human, even if it wanted to. That's Macquarie University wildlife scientist Vanessa Pirotta, Rachel Hayter reporting.
