Kerala: Woman set ablaze by live-in partner after argument over posting video online, dies

A woman, who was allegedly set ablaze by her live-in partner following a dispute over posting a video on Instagram, succumbed to her injuries at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College on Thursday. According to the police, 28-year-old Aathira was set on fire allegedly by her live-in partner Shanavas in Anchal, Kollam district. Along with Aathira, her live-in partner also sustained burn injuries, the police said. Shanavas, who have suffered about 40 percent burn injuries, is currently undergoing treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, said the police.
