WA's coronavirus hard border with Queensland returns as Brisbane prepares for lockdown

But speaking after a meeting of National Cabinet, Mr McGowan said WA could not afford to "sit back and wait and watch". Mr McGowan advised today's arrivals who were not West Australians returning home to "return to Queensland". All those who arrived from Queensland today — or since January 2 — were "free to depart WA and return to Queensland immediately", the Premier added.
