Book Fair Aftermath: NTR Stadium in a Mess

Deccan Chronicle

HYDERABAD: The state of NTR stadium, strewn with debris after the hugely popular annual Hyderabad National Book Fair concluded on December 29, has drawn the ire of hundreds of children, aged persons and locals who use it on a regular basis. Although it has been over a week since the book show ended, the ground’s management is yet to remove the temporary sheds and carpeting installed for the fair. The fair occupied nearly 60 per cent of the stadium’s 14-acre land. With a majority of the stadium space still having makeshift sheds and litter, the remaining space is cramped and remains a health hazard.”
