James Gunn talks about his commitment to future DC movies, says he'd rather ‘quit’ than rush projects: I'm being serious

DC Studios CEO James Gunn has made it clear that he is prioritising quality over speed in filmmaking. He has stated that he would rather "quit" than rush projects into production without ensuring they meet his creative standards. James, along with DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran, addressed concerns about the studio turning into a "movie machine" instead of focusing on organic storytelling. Clarifying his statement, the Superman filmmaker added, "I'm not saying I'm going to quit, I'm not d***ing DC." The film stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, alongside Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.
