Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is rapidly embracing the digital era and positioning itself as a leading hub for the digital economy. Leveraging its advantages, such as international internet data channel and national-level internet backbone node city, it has been actively developing an industrial cluster focused on electronic information technology, emphasizing big data and cloud computing. As of the beginning of 2023, the PUE design value of the power utilization efficiency of the data centers in Horinger New Area reached a minimum of 1.18, and the measured value reached a minimum of 1.19, ranking the new area in the forefront in energy efficiency among the eight central computing power hub nodes in the country. As the city strives to become more modern and environmentally friendly, it is poised to draw more investments and establish itself as a dynamic center for the digital economy in the years ahead.
