Land acquisition work for Angamaly-Kundanoor bypass progressing: Minister

I Minster for Public Works P.A. Mohamed Riyas, replying to a submission by Roji M. John in the Assembly, said that the laying of boundary stones for the proposed Angamaly-Kundannoor bypass was progressing. The Minister said that the decision to construct the Angamaly-Kundannoor bypass was taken in view of the vehicle density along the NH-544 corridor. It had also undertaken the additional financial liability to the tune of ₹2,370.59 crore the Thiruvananthapuram outer ring road, Kollam-Sengottai greenfield highway, and the Angamaly-Kundannoor bypass. The Minister said that the land acquisition work for the Angamaly bypass was also progressing.
