WhatsApp working on new safety feature, might restrict some accounts from sending messages

And now, the company might just be on its way to roll out a new safety feature to take action against accounts displaying suspicious activities. According to a recent report by WA Beta Info, WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature to restrict certain user accounts. According to the information obtained by the portal, WhatsApp is experimenting with a feature that will allow a temporary restriction of user accounts from sending messages. With the accounts restriction feature, WhatsApp can address problematic behaviour without causing significant disruption to the messaging experience.
