Sensex, Nifty open higher driven by a rally in IT sector stocks; Wipro gains 2%
Benchmark stock market indices gained in early trade to open higher on Wednesday after witnessing a crash in the last session. Dr. V K Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist, Geojit Financial Services said, ""President Trump’s orders and announcements, so far, have been disruptive. Wipro led the IT sector stocks with a healthy gain of 2.11%, followed by Infosys which rose 1.58%. However, some IT stocks faced pressure, with Persistent Systems declining 5.77%, L&T Technology Services dropping 0.90%, and LTI Mindtree falling 0.52%.
