Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation is set to launch the ‘Namma Covai Citizen’ mobile application to enhance civic engagement and streamline access to public services. The app aims to facilitate real-time updates on city events, enable residents to report civic issues, and assist in identifying solutions efficiently. Citizens will be able to lodge complaints regarding infrastructure and municipal services directly through the app, ensuring prompt attention from officials. A Coimbatore Corporation official said, “By enabling seamless communication between residents and the administration, the app aims to address key civic challenges and foster public participation in city development.
