Eagles’ Nick Sirianni, Jeffrey Lurie to meet to discuss 2024 plan: Sources

By Dianna Russini, Brooks Kubena and Larry Holder Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni will meet with owner Jeffrey Lurie and will be expected to have a plan for how he will improve the team, league sources said. Sirianni and Eagles general manager Howie Roseman have been reaching out to available NFL coaches and coordinators, as well as coaching agents across the league, to evaluate potential coordinator candidates to join the coaching staff. A major shift occurred after the 2022 season with offensive coordinator Shane Steichen and defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon leaving for head-coaching jobs with the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals, respectively. Sirianni originally tabbed Sean Desai as defensive coordinator and then turned to former Lions coach Matt Patricia for the role in mid-December.
