Explained: How theme-based e-books are helping students in the K-12 segment

The design of books has changed from print to electronic due to the quick growth of information technology. THEME-BASED LEARNING The use of themes in education has a history of emphasising and encouraging students to learn and understand concepts more practically. The topics covered in e-books serve as crucial supplementary material to solitary memory exercises like collaborating with others, providing and receiving feedback, and participating in group learning exercises. USE OF THEMES FOR HOLISTIC LEARNING OF CHILDREN The main goal of thematic training is to promote creative inquiry by placing cognitive abilities like reading, thinking, memorising, and writing in the context of a real-world scenario. Curriculum, textbooks, pedagogy, and assessment at all schooling levels must be transformed to reduce rote learning and promote holistic development and 21st-century skills like critical thinking, creativity, scientific temper, multilingualism, problem-solving, ethics, and social responsibility.
