Victorian premier defends Land Forces expo as police charge woman on third day of Melbourne protest

Police have charged a 19-year-old woman from NSW who held up peak-hour traffic and set her arm in wet concrete, while protesting against the Land Forces expo in Melbourne's CBD. Police were out before sunrise in Melbourne's CBD ahead of the final day of the Land Forces expo. Mixed feelings on expo's economic impact Ms Allan would not go into details about how much the state government contributed to entice the Land Forces expo to Melbourne, but said such events were valuable to the economy.
