A man was caught in possession of 62 kg dry marijuana by the South-East Task Force and the Chaderghat police. The accused, identified as Raju Jat alias Raju, was arrested at the Post Office lane near Nalgonda Crossroads in Chaderghat following a tip-off. Questioning revealed that he regularly sourced the contraband from a person named Subhash, who resides in Odisha’s Chitrakonda, and supplied it to his customer, Purushotham, a resident of Chandrapur in Maharashtra. On January 18, he travelled to Hyderabad by a private bus and was waiting near the Post Office lane to proceed to Kachiguda Railway Station when the police intercepted and arrested him,” explained the police.
