Zhejiang releases report on digital reading

The number of digital content readers in East China's Zhejiang province rose by 8.6 percent year-on-year to 26.58 million in 2020, according to a report on digital reading in Zhejiang. In 2020, the revenue of the digital reading market in Zhejiang reached 3.717 billion yuan, accounting for about 10.6 percent of the nation's total. The report also showed that the overall satisfaction of digital content readers in Zhejiang reached 95.3 percent, with nearly 80 percent praising the plots and storylines of e-books. Digital content readers from Ningbo read an average of nine e-books in 2020 and had an average reading span of 86 minutes per day.
