More than 200 new coronavirus cases reported in Orange County

There were 213 new cases of the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19 reported Monday in Orange County, according to updated numbers from the Orange County Heath Care Agency. The county now has 6,474 cumulative cases to date, including 665 skilled nursing facility residents and 377 Orange County jail inmates. The 213 new cases Monday were the fourth-highest single day total in the county during the pandemic, and the most since 216 were reported on May 23.
