As part of its efforts, IIMC has launched new programmes, updated its facilities, and made notable advancements in the field of media education. Rustagi highlighted the launch of two new MA programmes – Media Business Studies and Strategic Communication – in August, each with an intake capacity of 80 students. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting approved a Rs 200 crore proposal for the construction of a new campus in Amravati, Maharashtra, and the expansion of its existing facilities.
