In the previous session on Thursday, the Sensex settled 152.88 points, or 0.37 percent, lower at 41,170.12, and Nifty slipped 45.05 points, or 0.37 percent, to 12,080.85. That left MSCI’s broadest index of Asia Pacific shares outside Japan off by 1.6 percent at its lowest since early February.
