Bridge Climbing Festival in Tai'an continues to increase in popularity

Jiuxian village, located in Qiudiandian town, Tai'an, was abuzz with excitement as the annual Paqiao Festival, or Bridge Climbing Festival, unfolded at the village's historic bridge on Feb 13, drawing villagers from miles around. Locals, in spontaneous fervor, formed vibrant dragon dance troupes, stilt walkers, yangko performers, and drummers, parading in a spirited procession towards the bridge. Below the bridge, the river sparkled, while vendors selling delectable snacks and colorful toys had set up their stalls early, infusing the entire event with a rich tapestry of sights and scents.
