IIM Raipur exits CAP 2025, adopts independent admissions process
India TodayThe Indian Institute of Management Raipur has announced it will no longer participate in the Common Admission Process for its MBA admissions from 2025 onwards, opting instead for an independent selection process. Under its new system, IIM Raipur will evaluate candidates through CAT scores, group discussions, and personal interviews, aligning its approach with older IIMs such as Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta. The shift will see interviews conducted in eight cities -- Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Raipur -- from February 10 to March 9, 2025. Placement figures for the 2022–24 batch show a highest package of Rs 42.29 lakh per annum and an average of Rs 18.15 lakh, placing IIM Raipur eighth amongst the country’s 21 IIMs.
